key stroke

the geological column
are witless

The adult body is
an indefensible idea


Ink descends visibly
into water. I lure
the triptych of your head
away from the window, which
holds between its panels
a secret presence, a dead link.

The rooms escape me
yet matte yet glinting.
From beyond recognition
I stroke your hair.
