there is
always someone
dancing on our planet
I'm joining you I shout
from my apartment
wherever
whoever
engineering
the new feeling
my fuck-you brow a fine
calligraphy upon my forehead
my ancestors built boats
my poems go sailing
are you
someone who
murdered someone
I need to know
before I
fall in love
prophecy is
the dance
turning
slowly
on one
toe
then
shake shake
shake it out
shake shake
shake it out
a great
poet
dies
this is
what it felt like for
catholics when the pope died
she stopped speaking to
spirits to become one
we never engage
every key at once
it is one quiet
turning
at a time
I did a tarot reading while
the operator had me
on hold and when
she came back I
said I'm sorry
but my cards
say to tell you
no thank you
my fingers
toiled the
tangles
